And don't shoot me if your name is not on the list.. it took me a full hour to do the draw, obviously it was a long process, and it will be probably long to pack everything and send them.

I'm not sure everybody understood the concept of each contest, so I have winners in the UK for Krafty 12", it won't make sense for them as it would cost more shipping money than to buy it from the store, but if they pass, I'll draw another name, as simple as that.

Forgot to add, people, contact me so we can make shipping arrangements.

Remember: YOU are paying for the shipping from my place (Montréal, Canada) to your place, payments should be done via PayPal in priority because it's the most simple way.

The only item I fear are the 12", and also the slipcases as I'll have to find a box or enveloppe in which I hope it will be in 1 piece when it arrives to you, all suggestions welcomed.

For North Americans, I suggest the courier service from Canada Post called XpressPost, it's fast and reliable, and has tracking, plus they have standard enveloppes in which your package should arrive safely. You can check on http://www.canadapost.ca for more details about shipping fees.

Expect this to be all shipped before Christmas, hoping everbody will have it for Christmas, and obviously, I'm not responsable for lost packages, so it's up to you, if you pay for a tracable package, you'll make sure it gets to you, otherwise, it should be there, but it can be lost (especially for shipments in South America)

So, email me, we'll find a way, don't panic if I don't reply to you before the week-end. Obviously people who won CDs, it should be a lot easier to send your packages.

Well that's shown me.

I didn't think people ACTUALLY WON things! I thought it was one of those comps that made-up people won.

Boo hoo, i would have entered if i'd have known. It's true you've gotta be in it to win it.

first time i ever win anything! :jump:

ok, how much that slipcase weights? a good way to ship it is putting a couple of cardboards of the same size so it doesn´t bend and it doesn´t add too much weight into the package i.e. more expensive shipping ;)

Fookin' hell, I never expected to win anything, now i've got to figure out this whole PayPal business :nonono:. But what's the use in complaining, right? :baby:

To be honest Alejo, your name came up about 10 times in the draw... it was based on POST TOTAL (as I warned people) and since you were the one with the biggest amount and I didn't do a removal procedure... ;)

Actually it's a great idea.. if people can share shipping fees when they are located nearby, I'm all for it.

I fear the day I'll go to the post office....

There will be another winning tonight, WenOrder decided to pass on his prize as he already bought Item...

It's not loyality, but I was clear from the start for the slipcases, I wanted to give more chances to the most active members of this Community, hence why I asked for slipcases to Warner to give them away.

Trust me, giving 20 for about 200 people asking for them, I wish I had more. but overall it was totally random.

I had my lesson with the Hall of Fame tickets. I can check with Warner if they have some more though... who knows!

Nic, same question as Denial.

Yes, yes and yes...

No worry, I will email everybody, I've been pretty busy all holidays due to work issues, not I should get back to normal and have real time to find out about the shipping costs...

Just for the record, I will email you all this week, I want them to be gone by friday...

I need to make sure I have the good pricing for everything, I have no idea how much weights "Item" for instance and I have no idea how I can send a 12", I need to find out to make sure it comes in 1 piece.

Spot-

When I worked at the mail-order dept for Nettwerk Records, I used to ship 12" vinyl in these cardboard mailers that you had to fold and tape together. The inside dimensions of the box escape me but the records fit perfectly (I would say 12 x 12 x 0.5 would be pretty acurate). I got these mailers from a shipping company in Vancouver, but I would think there are various suppliers in Montreal or even Canada Post might oblige...

Heya Nic,

I've sent you three emails, asking about the shipping fares and how to deal with it. I don't think you've got them. Can you email me? I don't think I've got the right address... Thanks Pete

No I did, I didn't answer anybody yet.

This is what I'll do, I'll simply estimate the damned weight of the package, I'll send it to some people, and we'll go ahead with it. Hopefully I'll be right most of the time.

For CD and DVD it's easy, but for the slipcases and the 12", I need to find something solid to send those, but I believe I'll start to send one item at the time instead of waiting for them all.

So be prepared for news by this week-end.

A thin piece of hardboard like the stuff they make clipboards out of,taped to the back, slightly larger than the record itself, is the safest way to send 12" records. I bought a $600 record last year and thats how it came, no problems at all. Also bought Palatine and a couple of other lp's which were sent in the normal cardboard cases and while the records themselves were fine, the sleeves got damaged.

erm, just wondering if you've sent these out yet?

reasons are:

a) just wondering, and

b) i've had packages sent back to amazon for no apparent reason. just making sure everything's a-ok.

I am sending one of each THIS WEEK, promised, this will serve me to have the right pricing for each element.

So I'll send them to some people I know will pay me back ;)

To be honest, I hate doing this, hence why it's so long... sorry about that...
