After losing part of my law paper tonight, thanks to the highly efficient* program MS Word, I gotta go with Gates. But I threw some others in there for comparison.

I also voted for Bill Gates...I grew up with MS...my dad even worked for them for a bit.....all I knew was PCs and MS.....then I went to work for a graphic design studio which is all Mac......now I see just how evil MS is!!!

Lucas electronic is the Prince of Darkness. I discovered this after buying my Jaguar. I had a 240 mile drive home in the rain and dark when the alternator of my XJ-S went out.

To be honest, it was not Lucas' fault. Rather, the line from the transmission to the tranny cooler got loose and spluged fluid all over the altenator and, thus, shorting the Lucas part out. $152 for a Lucas rebuilt, $275 for labor.

Definitely Bill Gates. One time, MS Word threw a hissy fit and started saying that my system was "dangerously low on resources" (i.e. memory) and I spent ages on the phone trying to get it sorted. Apparently it's a known issue in Word and if it happens, you should find and delete the Normal template. That's my tip of the day! :)

I'd forgotten that there was no uninstall feature on the MS Media Player 9, so after trying that out for a couple of minutes while trying to burn a CD, and finding out that the action was directed to its burner instead of the Roxio Creator 5, which is what I was looking to use. Had to use a system restore to go back to the old version of WMP 7.1, which I hardly ever use anyway. For that extreme annoyance yesterday, I'll go with ol' BG.

Fookin' hell, for terrible customer service so far, one day in after they took over AT&T (at least out here), I've gotta change my vote to Comcast. Can't sign up for newsgroups cause my {home} computer's IP address is not part of their network address space. I already had to change all of my mail settings manually, something their "Transisition Wizard" promised to do automatically, but did not. For this inauspicious start, I am really not very impressed.

WTF again? Just got kicked out of the chat queue to find out what in the hell is going on. Really, this is a bit too amateurish right now.

I would say who the prince of darkness is, but the reference would only mean something to all of one person who posts... so i wont bother.
