after thinking on this one for a very long time...I had to go with other....It was hard to decide really, but I had to make the call.
good one Tabsy!
for real, my fav. video of all time has to be Unforgetable Fire by U2...absolutely beautiful song and video!!!
Best vid ever: Duran Duran - Rio. It set the standard - girls, yachts, disappear up your own arse faux artiness.
My favourite video is "Come To Daddy" by The Aphex Twin, it's the scariest video i have ever seen.
The best music video could never ever come from journey :barf: , my favorite vid of all time is rhcp's "under the bridge", but rem's great beyond comes close (i like this song a lot!). My fav NO vid has to be True Faith, hands down
i don´t know that journey one.... but there´re some good videos. come to my mind:
Pearl Jam-Evolution Verve-Bittersweet Simphony Duran-Is There Something I Should Know? DM-Never Let Me Down Cardigans-My Favourite Game Radiohead-(can´t remember the name. it´s black and white, mixing normal speed images with slow speed ones. there´s a dog barking...) Soda Stereo-La Ciudad De La Furia (argentinian band, awsome video. see it in this link: http://www.mtvla.com/sitewide/videoplayer/index.jhtml?vid=14850)

Alego, the Radiohead video your thinking of is (i believe) "Just" a great piece of work.

Nope, "Street Spirit", one of my all-time Radiohead faves, is the slo-mo black and white. "Just" is the guy lying down (or is it "laying down"?) in the middle of the sidewalk. Everyone keeps imploring him to get up, but he finally reveals why he's laying there and everyone else falls down too.
The secret:Trix are for kids, silly rabbit!
Some of my favorite videos are:
UNKLE feat. Thom York "Rabbit in your headlights"
DJ Shadow "You can't go home again"
Radiohead "Paranoid Android"
Smashing Pumpkins "Tonight Tonight"
NO "60 mph" (one of the funniest I've ever seen
)
That's all I can remember right now...

Your boyfriend will kill me but I need to say this : "You are more beautiful day in day out" ![]()
Don't know how I missed this wonderful thread when it first came out.
"Separate Ways" is without a doubt the greatest music video ever made. I'm shocked nobody has voted for it (apart from me, of course).

Quality stuff, Trevor. ![]()

maybe not the best vids, but memorable
Aphex twin, any of them Basement jaxx any of them WFL the Mondays
fav cameo in a pop video, Joe Strummer and Paul Simonon in B.A.D.'s Medicine Show as NYPD fat cops
I agree on the Aphex tip. Chris Cunningham's stuff is masterful. Windowlicker has to be one of, if not the, funniest video(s) EVER.

Chris has done some good work for our favorite Icelandic singer, Bjork.

There are video's available featuring the work of Chris Cunningham, Spike Jonze and another director (who's name i can't remember right now), all of them are completly different from each other; the only thing these 3 directors have in common is making videos for Bjork, but all 3 videos are brilliant, buy them if you can.
