I'm a few days early, but now I must root for Italy to beat the Czechs. The USA can't realistically advance otherwise. My biggest fear (besides having to beat a good Ghana team) is that Italy will play for the tie, since that would advance them to the next round. They're usually a conservative defence oriented team to begin with, and the group situation could make them even moreso. I smell a 0-0 tie on the horizon there. Anyone else the Italy will play for the tie, or is that too dangerous? Anyway, go Azzurri!!

The one saving grace is that Italy will want to win their group so that they don't have to face Brazil, so hopefully they will go for the win.
Well I never liked the Italians (speaking of the soccer team - not of the country and people). They don't know what fair play is and always play with a high death poll and red cards... "If we can't win than let's kill the other team at last."
Yeah, I don't really like Italy's style either, but I still have to root for them...this one time.
