Yes, Beardsley was an awesome player, despite the many accolades still vastly underrated.
A point between Division One and The Premiership, at -5mins, tell me a modern day player that wouldn't have gone down?
Incidentally, the guy from the Liverpool museum looks to be making a decent attempt at a Steve Morris impression.

I remember that one he chipped Lawson. Terrible keeper. Always getting caught of his line.

Silm Jim takes the piss oot a' En-ger-lund: the game that made Scotland unofficial world champions!
Then of course there was Derek Johnstone, who passed the crown onto:
I've already mentioned Davie Cooper elsewhere, but this guy was some replacement;
The Great Dane
...and then of course the best goal ever
look at that. Rush is thru. this could be history here for Ian Rush. if he scores. he's hit the post. he might score now. he has.

I'm just searching for a Lawrie Sanchez or Dave Beasent compilation as i speak.
it surely won't be long before El Nino joins this room.
see his first goal last night?
Dalglish-esq.
there won't be any goals like that at Rangers tonight. THAT'S for sure.

John, John, John gotta love your sense of humour and wind up's.
No, not seen the goal your on about (although the game advertised last night was Marseille v Liverpool, when I turned it on it was the Chelsea v Valencia game).
The Gers'll qualify no problem, then if your lucky you can watch from the Kop as they dump your mob in the next round!
(...and if some disaster befalls them the night I'll be back to delete this!)

Aye, "Battle Of Britain" games are normally good matches.
Rangers played Leeds Utd on my daughter's 1st birthday in '92 and that was a cracker of a game (course the teddy bears won home & away).
(and that goal Nakamura scored against Man U. was a cracker!)
