Not the Luton you played on Sunday though! We've sold our club captain since, and also the lad pressuring Riise for the goal. Expect three more to go by the weekend too!!

Looks like 6000 Luton in Anfield though. We've got more going up norf on a Tuesday night than we'll actually get at home against the league leaders Swansea this Saturday.

Football, it's a funny ol' game!

Edwards gone too, hasn't he? (the fella through one on one in the first couple of minutes)

My mate Dave who goes the game with Andy asked if the Anfield scoreboard could cope with double figures

Luton have a chance though - next tuesday will be my second only FA cup match - the other being the 1988 Final

Coyne and Edwards gone. Berko too, though he was already loaned out.

Brill, Talbot and Andrew expected to go today.

And we've still got that cunt Morgan on our books after he 'failed to agree personal terms' with Leeds - the one lad no one wanted to stay! Greedy lazy cunt. :nonono:

Thought Luton were superb on Sunday and should by rights be weighing up a little meet with Swansea. Really sad to watch all this unfold and now Blackwell is due to go too. Hope amidst all this there is salvation and a reputable buyer. Can still remember Ricky Hill proving all the cynics wrong about QPR’s little artificial number season 81/82 with one of the best midfield performances ever seen on the naked eye these shores

Cheers Jon.

Blackwell going is no great loss though. He's done alright of late but alienated himself from the fans early on and seems to have literally stumbled on a winning formulae recently, rather than getting it right himself.

The buying of a club is a two-horse race. A group of well-heeled local businessmen who have the backing of all fan groups. Or a local scheister who's had dodgy dealings with the club before and who no one wants to see in power.

With our luck I wouldn't hold breath against the latter winning though. Such is life.

5-0 but who was counting?

Good to catch up with PHD again last night. Me and Leggy had a beer or two with him beforehand.

Toddington ain't Luton at all, surely? It's gotta be 10miles north!

Hutchison weren't bad either! for 44mins! :evil4:

Blackwell might've, unwittingly, stumbled across something in the final moments of his Luton 'career'.

Played for Scotland? He's played for everyone, he's not fussy!

He's 36. And has basically proved to be quite shit this season. We usually play a 5-man midfield and are 3rd bottom of League One and he still couldnae get a game. Finally played last night cos we had no fit centre-backs on the books. And, fair play, he actually did alright. Came good - sort of - in our of need.

he huffed and puffed last night. could see it on his face.

If I've understood correctly, should Cardiff City get to the final then whoever plays them is guaranteed a place in Europe as Cardiff's membership of the Welsh FA means that they are unable to qualify for the UEFA cup via an English FA competition.

They've already been knocked out of the FAW Premier Cup by Newport County...
