Went on the train to that match. Match was awful. The journey from Bumley Barracks to the Turd and back was great fun........And seeing what was left of the loos at half time was interesting.........Dingles

Can't believe Chelsea and Spurs didn't make it to the list. Far more blood spilt between those two clubs than Arsenal and Spurs.

Arsenal Villa sparked at the weekend.

Everyone knows that West Brom vs Wolves is the biggest rivalry.

Celtic vs Rangers and Manure vs Liverpool are second division compared or even Scottish Premier :D

They're all average so difficult to tell one from another.

But as rivalries go, I'd still say dead cert that Spurs and Chelsea is pretty big. Defo bigger then some that made the list.

i also went on that train as i usually do. dads sending the kids out the houses and to the bottom of the street to v sign us :laugh:

it was a mate of mine,eddy grant,that sorted the fly over plane.he got half the money off simon garner :nod:

Villa v the Scum is the most hostile English derby. Only 40 police officers injured after our win at the Sty last year. The game at our place in 2003 was the most hate-filled game I have ever been to. People in exec boxes were attacked. Bluenoses were hunted out and thrown down the stairs in the stands and given a kicking. The Police advised the Blues coaching staff that they couldn't gurantee their safety. Villas mob was 500-700 strong Total Chaos.

Had the misfortune to stay in Wolverhampton a couple of times (I work in Telford - it was the nearest hotel!) - never found it vibrant! :lol:

That's definitely true: Stoke-Vale was pretty hostile in the late 80s/early 90s but is just a bit of banter these days, especially seeing as it looks like they won't exist in a few years. Incidents against Brum were vicious in the 90s but that rivalry now seems pretty calm. Our 'relationship' with Cardiff in the early 00s was nightmarish given that the two of us the had the worst hoolie reputations in the country at that time. Our recent FA Cup game(s) against Newcastle had a lot of hype after our lot had battered the fuck out of them at a match during the Keegan era: we heard endless tales of lads coming out of retirement, squaddies taking special leave to come back and take revenge on Stoke. All came to nought, mind. (Though I guess that's Newcastle all over, eh?)

There's some long-running bad-blood between us and Bristol City, and WBA seem to be much loathed amongst the Stoke populace at the minute, which is bizarre because for as long as I can remember they've been practically bosom buddies with our lot!

Circa 91-94 our big rivals were Liam's lot, Stockport fucking County. Makes no sense, does it?!

The 'Old Farm' at #2. Having followed the Tractor Boys all my life,i would say that you're more likely to get into a dust-up at a Sooty & Sweep show than at either Portman or Carrow Rd.

Having said that,About 20 Norwich fans managed to get them selves arrested after a fight with the 'Leicester youth' a couple of weeks ago.
