Who d'ya want???:

Stockport vs. Rochdale

Not got too much invested in this, but Stoke do have some interesting past history with Stockport so for this reason (and in the hope that promotion might cheer that miserable cunt Liam up a bit) I'll go with the boys from Edgeley Park.

Doncaster vs. Leeds

Total no-brainer. Any right-thinking human being will be cheering Donnie on for this one!!

Brizzle City vs. Hull

At the start of the season I'd have said Hull without question (biggest metropolitan area in Western Europe never to have a top-flight side, etc.), but having more recently encountered the wilful arrogance of these Rugby-loving Yorkshire shithouses first-hand I want the Cider Army in the Premiership.

The future's not orange, but their fucking manager certainly is.

Rochdale (because they haven't been promoted for over 30 years or something)

Doncaster (Albion and Donny played each other at the last game at The Goldstone, the fans have had an allegiance ever since)

Hull (because being from Bristol is tantamount to being Welsh)

County, obviously.

Doncaster, obviously.

As for the other game, well, I feel sorry for whoever wins. Because they're going to battle it out with Stoke to finish 19th and the manager is going to get sacked after ten games because its panfully obvious his team is going to get relegated. Like Billy Davies this season, got sacked because Derby overachieved...

Stockport, Leeds, Bristol.

Stockport County

Doncaster Rovers (Leeds are not big enough to go up)

Hull City

I'm going to change mine to Hull. Simply because Lee "Cunt" Trundle plays for Bristol City.

The last thing anyone needs in more scousers who dont know what country they're from having very substandard seasons, before eventually being relegated and then demanding a transfer because he "needs to play at this level". £1 Million for five goals in Division 2. Pathetic.

Martin,

I would quite like Stoke to stay up. Because if they do it will increase my chances of getting my season after season prediction that Fulham will be relegated right. I just cant see it happenning.

'Jinxy' Johnny Giles - who when I first met him even had a Leeds away season ticket (and he also had to travel 200 miles to get to home games!) - has attended just two Leeds games in the last three seasons.

  1. Play-off final two years ago.
  2. Play-off final this year.

I reckon Leeds fans should ban him from any more games!

I love you dearly, James. That whole 'Leeds' thing is the only blight on an otherwise perfect scorecard.

I'm good: enjoying the view, looking down on you third tier motherfuckers, glad that what goes around eventually comes around....

And, yes, I'm still quite angry about that late Gary Strachan free kick at the Victoria Ground circa-1989. And the 4-0 dubbing we got at your place the following season.

I'm as happy as a pig in shite is going to be with an unused ticket sat in front of me due to reasons i shall not go into here (although the person responsible has promised to refund me, although considering they had to be rushed off to Hospital i dont think I'll take the money).

We did deserve to win, and it was the best we've played this season once we got going, I thought. Our season was summed up in injury time though, when the sub McNeil tried a Cruyff turn and fell on his arse. Still, we tried the passing game, and for once, it worked.

Just in case anyone has forgotten, two years ago we were nine minutes away from being relegated to the Conference, after a season which saw us five points adrift at the bottom at Christmas after a 6-0 defeat by Macclesfield. After the destruction of the Palmer years, and the failures of the McIlroy and Turner days, its remarkalble what Jim Gannon has done. Peterborough can spend 400k on a Goalkeeper and we'll be lucky to get 50k overall to soend this summer says a lot about what he'd done. There's no benefactor, we just have a good youth set up. Its amazing considering Palmer nearly sent us out of Business.

So yeah, fuck you Carlton Palmer. Jim Gannon for PM!

I'm glad Stockporto went up.

You'd have murdered us next season playing like that.

No one was more shocked than I was when we started passing it around and it actually went to another Stockport player!
