When pompey won the F.A cup in 1939 they retained it for the war years,, it was held in the Bird in hand pub outside of pompey,,, last night it was back at the bird in hand and what a jolly night it was. tenner a photo to a local charity and the 2 guys who have been looking after it gave loads of great stories about it,, the cup still has gazzas teeth marks on it!! the cup was taken apart so you could have a good look at it all. the original apprenticess who made the cup have signed there names on the underside. i got me photo with 5 of the team i manage,, what a great night ,,, i could almost forgive arry for going to spurs..
