Worth the long coach trip for this all dayer, despite the punks ripping the piss out of my trendy southern baggy suit. Showcase for Northern and Factory bands. First time I had seen The Wake and was in awe, New Order came on and were incredible. It appeared that they were actually trying to impress and seemed suited to this festival thing. The day was rounded off by Blancmange who were quite good. I was on the Travens coach which left the Sounds journalists stranded in Deeside.Ha Ha Ha
