30ish college professor of economics and enviro studies. I'm that "student type" that Barney was talking about in NewOrderStory, maybe. Head in a book and into math and all that. I give my students album recommendations on their homeworks and Substance is still the first one. More personally, I really like drinking cocktails and getting to dress up a bit. I hate summer and the beach. I like museums and I'm working very hard on covering every square inch of wall in my apt with art. And I love snowboarding even though I suck at it.

I'm proud to say that my first post to Ceremony was in (I believe) November of 1992.

Hard to explain I suppose. Just that feeeling I get when I hear them. I have very specific odd memories attached to certain songs but those same songs can also give me a more general feeling (this or that song feels like a "winter" song) that still persists and makes the song every bit as relevant now. And the new material resonates just as much with me.
