I teach a guitar class for beginners and intermediate called "Anyone Can Play Guitar". I make beats on the PC and I have been recording for a few years as a hobby. I am working on putting some things at a soundclick site but I haven't done it yet. I live in northern California. I am registered with the Green Party. I enjoy reading Robert Anton Wilson and Phillip K Dick. I love David Lynch films and the Twin Peaks tv series. I am a fan of the X-Files. I enjoy the "deep thinking" types of conversation. I don't bite. (not too hard, anyway)

I got into Joy Division first and then I met Nichole (she deserves a mention here) who collected New Order and she gave me a cassette of Movement which I played so many times I have had to repair it. (cheap bastard, ain't I?) New Order has great music of course and also the lyrics seem to be so true. I love that the lyrics seem to be about very specific situations but there is enough ambiguity that I can find meaning to my personal experience. I would have to point out that the bass is some of the best ever, and I love the guitar parts as well. The range of music that New Order has done is amazing. I would love to jam with them some time. They seem like real people.
