the best present i was ever bought was a radio cassette player by my parents when i was 12.i started listening to the radio at all hours till i eventually discovered john peel playing his festive fifty.he played at one point "new dawn fades" which sent shivers down my spine. so when the rest of my class were still listening to shakin stevens thanks to john peel /joy division/new order i discovered there was a whole new exciting world of music out there to discover. i have never lost my love for the music of joy division and new order,they were and still are my all time musical heroes.
