Every now and again, we spin AVALANCHE here in D.C. (all New Order/Joy Division/the side projects played all night long).

But I have to admit that ...

I have NEVER seen New Order play live! They seem to either skip the East Coast when touring or I get unlucky and am in the wrong place when they have been here. I have met Peter Hook at a Monaco gig however so I guess that counts. :)

In 1989 I first heard New Order and so the first songs I heard were naturally off of "Technique." Then one day I heard "Your Silent Face" and the rest is really history, as they say. There's just a feeling I get when I listen to New Order's music and watch their videos. Bernard Sumner is one of the most gorgeous men on the face of the planet, and that certainly adds to the mystique. ;)
