grad student in a book and paper arts program @ columbia college/chgo ( I print letterpress (with the itty-bitty bits of type!!), make my own paper, handbind it together to make books, blah blah blah recently turned a StepVan (UPS or FedEx type truck) into a pinhole camera. Yeah.. saville & assoc. made a favorable inpact on how i see things/design things, nice and minimal but functional.

hard to pinpoint-- maybe it's the correct mix of emotional attachment (or is that detachment?)with a proper beat and that undefineable 'mood' that generally lacks in most rock. They've also stuck together pretty well throught out the years, despite themselves and lots of other crap in the music world.
