Marble & Stone

I am a carer for the Intellectually Disabled. I live in Melbourne, Australia. In my spare time, between raising my children, working, and studying, I muck around recording original music/lyrics on my ageing analogue 4-track or using sequencing software ( eg: Fruity Loops ) on my computer.

After buying the True Faith 12" ( arn't the remixes fantastic !)I received 'Substance' for my birthday in 1987 and was immediately hooked on their sound. They were the first band to really move me, deep down inside. I don't want to carry on, but I felt when I heard their music like I was 'home', that they were expressing a piece of my soul. Especially in their darker stuff that was created around the time of Movement. This transition point betwwen J.D. and New Order means the most to me musically.
