Monkeys in a Bubble

I am slowly making my way through college. Besides New Order I am also into history, psychology, art, music, and biology.

I first heard 1963, Bizzare Love Triangle, and Blue Monday when I was like 6. I loved the songs even then. I didn't know who sung them, I didn't even know they were by the same band, because I was only a kid. As I grew older, I forgot about these songs but then in 1999ish, I bought the Best of album because I felt some psychic vibes from the CD at the music store. Lo and behold, it had all three songs that I loved as a kid. I really have got into them since then. I just feel a connection with their music. I feel like it was written for and about me. New Order's music is sad, happy, playful, bitter, angsty, joyful, arty, loving, hateful, emotional, detached, passionate, and indifferent all at the same time. Their music is the soundtrack to my life.
