Because they are really the best pop/rock band I've ever heard in my life. One day, in 1988, I was in Juiz de Fora, Brazil, watching TV, and then, during a commercial (about the "Enduro da Independência"), I´ve heard the bassline for "The Perfect Kiss". Since that day, New Order took part of my life. I´ve bought every LP and K7 they have released in Brazil. In 2001, I´ve downloaded Get Ready in August, 2 months before the official brazilian release. And they still rocks. Take your Get Ready CD and just push play. When you hear "Close Range", "60 MPH" you recognize the excellence of their sound. The New Order trademarks (Sumner's etheric voice & Hook's basslines) are just there. These trademarks are so good that the side projects (Monaco, Electronic) just repeats that "formula" of success. And they still rocks too (listen to "Twisted Tenderness", "Late at Night", "Black Rain", "Tender", and other impressive songs). Well, I could write here thousands of words in my poor english but nothing can express the presence and the importance of N.O. music in my life. They are really the best and we have here, in Brazil, thousands of N.O. fans just waiting for their next tour. Barney, Hooky, Morris & Gillian: you are invited to return here (do you remember Maracananzinho, Rio de Janeiro, 1988?). This is my message for all the N.O. fans, specially the brazilian fans.
