RONALD BOONE

I'm a computer technician in orange county, CA, USA. I grew up in the 80's so I love 80's songs, but mostly alternative 80's. I used to work, well actually only a volunteer at a radio station in the Philippines when I was in 3rd yr high school. That was WXB 102, the station that dared to be different. For a year I worked their and learned almost all the great bands that were popular and not so popular that deserve to be heard. They are mostly U.K. bands. My favorite is New Order. I tried as much to collect all their cd's, used to be Lp's. I'm married now and I have two sons. I hope someday they will learn to appreciate my favorite band.

FIRST HEARD OF NEW ORDER FROM A RADIO STATION IN THE PHILIPPINES POWER 105.1 SINCE THEN I'M HOOKED. FIRST SONG I HEARD WAS THIEVES LIKE US. THAT WAS SUMMER OF 1986. 15 YRS LATER AND THEY ARE STILL MY FAVORITE BAND BECAUSE OF THEIR UNIQUE COMBINATION OF SOUND, RHYTHM AND LYRICS. YOU CAN TELL IF ITS NEW ORDER BY THE VOICE, THE DRUMS, THE RHYTHM GUITAR AND ITS BASS.
