About
I had the opportunity to meet and have a frosty Corona with Peter Hook (Mesa, AZ 1989), Peter told me that I had "AfterShow" entry and tickets for 4 to the concert, so I sold my tickets to a friend. Fate would have it that the crew at the gate did not have my name on the list; I called up to Peter's room and he told me to go back to the gate...when we arrived we were ushered in! At the AfterShow my girlfriend Cheri and I presented Peter with the front license plate from my car that read :"NuOrdr". Hooky, I hope you still have that plate hanging around the studio!
I am now a rather normal looking IT guy. My 'Heart and Soul' still lives to meet up with the band once again. My personal motto stolen from JD: "Walk in Silence, Don't Walk Away In Silence".
Why New Order?
The Perfect Kiss captured my soul in the clubs of Honolulu, HI in 1985. I saw the album in Jelly's just before NO did a gig at "The Wave" and thought I'd pick it up. That was the turning point from listening to "Prince style formats" to the whole UK spectrum from The Cure to Xymox and Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb. The music on Low-Life was so powerful that I bought everything I could get my hands on which is what connected me to Joy Divison. I still wear my Unknown Pleasures T-Shirt on a regular basis.
