I live with another New Order fan, whose brother knew the band in the early days, so conversations normally end up going in that direction.

I stayed awake at the New Years Eve gig and managed to find the Olympia in Liverpool (!)

That's not alot about me is it......

Their music has never been chart fodder. I mean this in the nicest possible way, but they seemed to produce songs beyond the sum of the individuals in the band. Because they cared, because they didn't care. Because of Fac numbers and only letting the fans into their corner of the world.
