I like New ORder for the lyrics first and formost. Considering the guy who wrote them does not know what they really mean is cool. It leaves the song open to your own meanings. Some of them are pretty self explanitory, i.e. True Faith - drugs.

Secondly, sequencers. They are the first band that I really listened to that used electronic stuff. After them I was introduced to Mode and so on. It has led me to bands like Orbital.
