There is going to be a joy division day on bbc 6music on 18th may listings as follows 7:00-10:00 Gidion at breakfast featuring an interview with Tony Wilson.
Andrew Collins 10:00-13:00 with John Peel`s Joy Division sessions
Vic McGlynn 13:00-16:00 features other bands covering JD songs
Steve Lamacq 16:00-19:00 interview with Anton Corbijn
There will also be an event at Exchange Square in Manchester where the big screen will be taken over by 6music and they will be playing footage released by Factory Records including `Here Are The Young Men`, the 1979 Apollo gig footage and an 1988 documentary about the lagecy of JD.
