New Collaboration For Peter Hook

Ribble Valley band Jove have just finished recording their debut single with legendary New Order bassist Peter Hook.
And the group who have been making music together since their days at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School are delighted with the results.
Having moved to Manchester earlier this year - to concentrate on the future of the band - they're now starting to earn a name for themselves in the city.
Managed by Ian Brown's manager, Steve Lowe, when they started looking for a producer, the names at the top of the list were all members of New Order.
Life-long fans of the seminal Manchester Indie/crossover group, the lads were put in touch with Hooky through Bernard Sumner's PA.
Rated amount the world's best bassist, Hooky was quick to take on the work after hearing the band's semo tapes. Based at Liverpool's Parr Street Studios, the quartet enjoyed four days and nights or hard graft - and the inevitable early morning drinking sessions.
Rob said: "He was great to work with. He was exactly what you'd expect, always turning the bass higher in the mix. Seriously, he created a really relaxed atmosphere to work in. And after we'd finished he'd stay up with 'til four o'clock in the morning telling New Order stories."
Havin come away with three tracks in the bag, the single is set for release at the end of the year on their manager's own label, All Action Figure Records.
Reflecting on the finished songs, Rob said: "There was a little bit of pressure on us, because this wasn't a demo, it was our first proper produced work and there couldn't be any excuses for not getting it right."
Job play live dates in November. Sheffield Boardware on Monday 18, Manchester Roadhouse on Tuesday 19 and Liverpool Barfly on Friday 22.
