Last night (March 11th 2003), during the Red Hot Chili Peppers's gig at the Manchester Evening News arena, John Frusciante and Chad Smith did a rendition of Blue Monday.
John Frusciante is known as a Joy Division/New Order fan, and jumped on state at the Los Angeles 2001 gig to join New Order and Moby for their version of New Dawn Fades which is available on the 24 Hour Party People soundtrack.
