NEW ORDER, IN ORDER

Two-CD Set Collects Every Single, Available December 6

LOS ANGELES — Touched by the hand of god! How else to explain the “procession” of phenomenal singles released by New Order over the last 25 years? Warner Bros./Rhino Records succumbs to “temptation” with the December 6 release of the two-CD collection SINGLES, which culls every A-side the band has recorded to date. SINGLES is available at physical and digital retail outlets and at www.rhino.com for a suggested list price of.$24.98.

SINGLES not only showcases New Order’s amazing songwriting prowess, but also serves as an ideal overview of the band’s work—the perfect introduction for new listeners. Longtime fans will not only be delighted to hear all these great songs together in one place, but will be eager to check out the brand new Secret Machines remix of “Temptation,” exclusively available on this compilation. Many of these 7” versions have not been available on CD before.

SINGLES’ first disc kicks off with New Order’s first post-Joy Division foray, “Ceremony,” continues through their smash hit “Blue Monday” (the biggest-selling 12” single of all time) and perfect gems like “The Perfect Kiss” and “Bizarre Love Triangle,” rounding to a close with the rousing “Touched By The Hand Of God.” Included along the way are the Arthur Baker produced club classic “Confusion,” the single-only release “Shellshock,” and the enduring “True Faith,” a Billboard® Top 40 pop hit.

Disc 2 of SINGLES begins with the bands’ 1988 revisitation to their highly influential “Blue Monday,” visits killer sides from Technique (“Fine Time,” “Round And Round,” and “Run 2”) and Republic (including the Top 40 hit “Regret”), crescendos with “Crystal” and “60 Miles An Hour” from 2001’s Get Ready, and rounds off with four songs from their latest album, Waiting For The Sirens’ Call, before concluding with “Temptation (Secret Machines Remix).” Also included along the way is New Order’s 1989 World Cup single, “World In Motion.”

SINGLES offers proof once again the New Order is “Here To Stay.”
