T In The Park festival trying to get New Order

ROCKERS The Killers are set to join Green Day and Foo Fighters among the headline acts for this summer's T in the Park festival.
The Las Vegas outfit,who had a hit with Somebody Told Me, will sign a deal in the coming days to play the festival at Balado,near Kinross,in July.
It's another major coup for event organisers DF Concerts who are determined to maintain its status as one of the world's favourite music festivals.
The Killers are fronted by Mormon singer Brandon Flowers who doesn't take drugs and claims his band are a clean-living alternative to their debauched rock 'n' roll contemporaries.
But that hasn't stopped fans from going wild for their music which is influenced by the likes of New Order and Duran Duran.
Last night,a T in the Park insider said: 'We're delighted to have The Killers atT in the Park.
'They have become one of the hottest bands around and have grown in stature since they played the festival last year.
'The T in the Park line-up will be second to none and probably the best batch of bands yet.
'Over 100 acts will perform over the weekend and we expect the best new music to be included.
'In addition to Green Day and Foo Fighters, we have acts who are going to get music fans very excited about coming toT.'
Flowers admits he is looking forward to his band's visit to Balado.
He said: 'We've played T in the Park before and it was a lot of fun.
'We have wanted to come back to the festival this summer and play other festivals too. We're one of the hardest working bands around.'
The Killers are Brandon Flowers, bassist Mark Stoermer, drummer Ronnie Vannucci and guitarist David Keuning.

A spokesman for the festival said: 'We are unable to confirm many of the acts because things are still at the contracts stage but this will be the biggest festival yet, both in terms of size and the money spent on bringing the best live music available to Balado.'
