Chapter 41: My final post as a 23-year-old!! [This time, it's something a little different...]
For my 41st Chapter here, and to celebrate my final day at 23 years old, it's a bit of a look back to what I'd done since last year's 4 October.
In no exact chronological order...
Turned 23 on 4 October 2006.
My first time was on Saturday 3 November 2006. Yeah, that. The song was "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode.
I was a gothic angel for Halloween last year.
I ended up returning to my new wave/goth/punk rock roots by the end of 2006. In the process I rediscovered my favorite band since my childhood: New Order. I also rediscovered Joy Division in the process.

Earlier this year, I joined the Barney's Angels, and then NOOL. Some time later I did this nice collage here:

And come on... I can't do a past-year post without these two guys here...

Hee.
I'm just sooo bad.
One of the highlights of this past year: VNV Nation in April [Good Friday]:

Three words: Craziest. Night. Ever.
This summer I had a boyfriend. Three months later I lost him. Oh well.
This summer also saw the completion of my New Order/Joy Division collection. Fun times!! ^_^
Among other fun accomplishments, this one right here [done in Ian's perspective
]--

And this one from Steve's perspective--

...and the discovery of LOLcatz...

...and even this one.

And then... in came these guys right here...

...yeah, they didn't do much...

...okay, so they did do something.
Didn't know they still made music though... until this nice little press release from 2003:

And now I have all of their albums!! And their live album's ace too.
I questioned my existence, and grew up along the way.
My stepsister is now 10 years old...

...my stepbrother turned 8 last week...

...and tomorrow it'll be my turn.
My stepbrother gave me his sweetest little smile Sunday evening:

And, during this time frame, I even had time to explore my world a little bit--
Busride through town--the Trans-Small Town Express:

Rainy-day mornings:

The blessings of a Friday night surrounded by beloved friends:

For the first time in almost 2 years I got my hair chopped short!!

I even inspired the heart and imagination of a 7-year-old, little Benjamin!!

My favorite shot of Little Ben:

Punx Picnic one night [that's my friend Jay from the Antics, local punk band who reunited just for the Picnic]...

...Clay Aiken the next night!!

Sunny skies...

...and glowing sunsets...

From a momentary loss of power at my store...

...to the loss of a beloved legend in our lifetime...

...and even this, erm, strange train of thought:

The infamous ducky...

...and the even stranger Vikings!!

...and there you have it!! As best as I can recall it, the past 12 years of my life as a 23-year-old, which is now slowly drawing near to a close. That and--
--what the!? Awwies!! Hey, thanks for tying up my tie, Ralf!!

...heh, until the next round... cheers!!
