London calling!
Well, the time has come, I'm packing starting tomorrow for my week in London with a short trip to Wolverhampton.
Call that my birthday present if you want, thing is, I'm scared as hell to arrive alone in a foreign country for the first time in my life. Last year I did that but it was in the USA, though I didn't know Chicago at all, I was at all time with WenOrder, this time it's going to be different.
I'll do the tourist for 3 days, I will probably still be recovering from the damn flu that I had for the last 4 weeks on and off, hopefully it won't affect me when friday will be around the corner.
It will be my first time outside of North America (and Carribeans), first time in Europe. I might be bilingual, but I don't speak it too often because obviously everything is done in french in Montreal, so I'll have to get back to it, and this time it'll be even worst because there will be the english accent. I also fear I'll ask so many people to repeat themselves, it will be horrible hehe... so please, don't take it personal if I just nod and keep quiet, it's because I probably didn't understand a word you just said ;)
Oh well, I know everything will be alright and everything will go well and I'll meet wonderful people... but nevertheless it's always scary to do this, but once you're there, you are happy to have done it... and for me it's special because it's a week off before turning 33 and starting a brand new job, and doing something completly crazy like that is not something I do very often, and it will be a pleasure to meet so many people I've been talking with for the last 5 years on this website...
Keep in mind that I will meet so many people out there that I might not remember you, especially I'm aweful with names and remembering people.
So, hopefully I'll meet you at Wembley, NewOrderOnline Day or Wolverhampton!
Cheers.
