3. Amory Blaine (male; protagonist of This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald)
---Princeton student in the novel. Character said to be inspired by Fitzgerald himself, as This Side of Paradise is the most autobiographic of his works.
4. Thomas Parke D'Invilliers (male; character in This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald)
---Amory Blaine's friend. Inspired by John Peale Bishop, Fitzgerald's friend. The introduction to The Great Gatsby features a poem credited to Thomas Parke D'Invilliers, but the poem was written by Fitzgerald under such a pseudonym.
