--> Things are actually going well with Michael [my boyfriend] at this point. 7 July [fuckin' hell, that's a week from tomorrow!!
] is when he leaves back for his hometown--though he WILL be visiting some weekends through the next two months. On 7 September he leaves for Scotland--for a semester!! Bloody hell, he leaves on his birthday. Which means we're gonna be missin' each other's birthdays, as well as Halloween, Turkey Day, Hanukkah [yes, I'm not Jewish but I celebrate it, fun holiday], and Christmas. Oh, and New Year's too.
However, no worries. He'll be my first New Year's kiss when he returns in 2008!
So, in the meantime, while he's gone in Scotland [all you lot in the Scottish and British Orders, welcome him warmly, will ya??], we'll be e-mailing each other like mad. It'll be a bit tough, as he's gonna be so far away it's not funny [or maybe it is??
], but I think we'll manage.
...erm, maybe I should say I hope we'll manage...?
--> Already this Sunday it'll be two weeks from the Morrissey show at the Hard Rock Live!!
Hee, I'm just uber-psyched for this one!! And I even made a shirt for the occassion. Yes, I'll take pictures, I promise! I hope! And so on!!
From what two fellow NOOLers told me, he's freckin' amazing!
So, this promises to be a total kick-ass show. 15 July, here I come!!
--> Today, I had the balls to reject someone.
Actually, that's been a good strong part of me since I met Michael and, eventually, became a gilfriend.
I took this customer's order [of course, drive-thru], and he came to my window. I gave him his change and noted something about the weather [which, at the time, was going to rain--and we both agreed that the more rain, the better!]. He's like, 'So, you got a man?' And I'm like, 'Yep!!' and I gushed and giggled about Michael, much to the guy's chagrin. :eyeroll: Then I was smart [again, :eyeroll:] to ask him as to why he asked.
So his response was, 'Well, can I get your number?' He tried to imitate Michael's liplick.
And my response was, 'Nope! You're not my boyfriend, and you're not my type!
Have a nice day!!'
Boy, was he happy after that.
