~ The Blog, Chapter 22: This Modern Love. [So... I'm on my own for now and...] ~
...well, no, Mike and I didn't break up. It's just that... well...
Mike left for home Saturday. Home is Lakeland. And Lakeland is kinda-far from DeLand. And THAT kinda sucks.
Hell, I miss him already.
And he's only been gone two days. But still.
[Currently playing: 'Am I Wrong?' by Love Spit Love.]
From the [Y.A.N.T.] blog...
If you're up for a good round of sports satire, this is his blog: 90% Mental [and yes, satire can be a good thing... especially in sports...]. Most of his blogposts are, basically, his views on the what's-going-down-in-sports. Which goes to show why he's the Sports Editor for the local University paper The Reporter--he actually knows what the fuck he's talking about!!
Class act, he is.
So, with him now out of town, and me on my own to fend for myself [as well as he and himself] against incoming pursuers of my fairly fragile heart, what's a goth/new wave/punk rock girl like me to do? Other than be sorta gloomy, miss him, and the like.
Simple--make a brand fuckin' new StarMix to keep my mind in a decent frame of mind!!

...I think this mix needs a second copy--for the boyfriend.
So yeah, I miss him, but as he's got less than two months before leaving for Scotland [HEY GARY!! Get your Scottish Order in gear!! We have an infant in the Order to train!!
Teach him well, Sir!!], and as he'll visit me a few times before leaving, well... yeah. I guess this could be the most interesting summer I've ever had. But then again, who am I to say?
I don't know. I guess I'm just a strange girl in love with a strange boy. Love's a good thing, really.
Until the next round, Cheers!!

...no worries though, I forgive the boy. Not sure if he's read my Blog yet though. I'm sure he will. Heck, I read his. And I looooove reading his blog.
I wanted to let him know about this blog, and the fact that I hope he has a safe journey, but as his dad was around and Mike himself was in a rush, I couldn't say a word. After I got back to my apartment I sorta cried about it. I was such a baby--well, not quite. That and, my heart just broke along the way. I had never had such a heartache like that.
