New Order Announce 'The Best & The Rest Of' Remastered Collection

New Order have announced 'The Best & The Rest Of', a remastered collection combining their two acclaimed early-90s compilations with previously unreleased remixes from SubSub, Richie Hawtin and Joe T. Vannelli. The four-CD deluxe and separate vinyl editions arrive 17 July via Warner Music. The announcement comes following their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction and Peter Hook's recent comments on a potential reunion.

New Order have announced 'The Best & The Rest Of', a remastered collection bringing their two acclaimed 1994 and 1995 compilations together for the first time. Released 17 July via Warner Music, the four-CD deluxe edition features fully remastered audio alongside an expanded selection of remixes, including many previously unreleased by SubSub, Richie Hawtin and Joe T. Vannelli. Separate vinyl releases also arrive — a 2LP 'Best Of' and, for the first time, a 3LP 'Rest Of' that compiles all 12 tracks from the CD and original vinyl.

The original 'Best Of New Order' brought together the band's singles from 1985 onwards in 1994, featuring their defining moments: 'True Faith', 'Blue Monday 88', 'Bizarre Love Triangle', 'Regret', 'World In Motion'. The companion 'Rest Of New Order' followed in 1995 with a rethinking of the catalogue, most notably Hardfloor's 'Blue Monday-95'. Both reached the UK Top Five. The announcement comes on the back of New Order and Joy Division's recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, with their induction ceremony set for November in Los Angeles.
