The fun begins for 24 Hour Party People
Former Factory records boss Tony Wilson has turned out for the premiere of 24 Hour Party People which tells the story of the Madchester scene.
He was greeted by Steve Coogan who portrays him in the film.
It was launched at the Curzon Soho cinema in London and is released in the UK on April 5.
Chris Coghill, who plays Bez, Danny Cunningham, who plays Shaun Ryder, and Paul Popplewell, who plays Paul Ryder, also attended the premiere.
Other guests included Chrissie Hynde, Keith Allen, Tracey Emin, Johnny Vegas, Nick Hornby and Pet Shop Boy Neil Tennant.
Wilson says the film captures the feeling of the post-punk gigs at the Hacienda in the '80s.
