Ian Curtis 70th Birthday: 'Insight' Exhibition on View in New York

Ian Curtis would have turned 70 today, 15 July 2026. He died in May 1980 at just 23 years old. The 'Ian Curtis: Insight' exhibition at New York's Voltz Clarke Gallery (through 22 July) brings together photographs by Mark Reeder, a key documenter of the Manchester scene, alongside Curtis's own notebooks, letters, and ephemera.
