I just bought tickets to see Killing Joke when they play Sydney in November. Anybody see them recently ? How were they ????

Jesus...these guys are still around??? I remember that tune they did called "living in the 80's"...used to get some heavy rotation on MTV back in the formative days...

Haven't seen any reviews on the new tour, but isn't Dave Grohl playing with 'em now? I did hear a new song that sounded pretty good, but that's all I can add. KJ's first album was one that I could stick on back then and not get a bunch of grief from my metalhead friends.

'love like blood' is one of the greastest songs.

Agreed, one of the best songs from the 80's, apart from "Living In The 80's" of course. :D

The new one is in the running for my personal album of the year. Genuine anger and paranoia. And in these political times, its well-justified. Here, in the U.S., it's only $10, too. Which is a steal for how high-quality it is.

Their 80s stuff is... well... of the past. They aren't really doing stuff like that anymore.

Amazing, first the new Wire album blew me away and i expect the Killing Joke album to do the same. Some of the old punk bands still know what they're doing.
