one person at a time...the gent that I used to supervise the overnight crew with has been converted...when I arrived at work this morning...he informed me that he had caught the Man U-Leeds match on the telly...I thought he was completely full of shite, until he rattled off the score...

unfortunately...we do get the american announcers...but I can overlook that...and John knows not to call it soccer in my presence...

I can't stand the sports schmucks on Fox sports and on ESPN, half the people do not know what the hell they are talking about, either the sportscasters are men and women who wanted to do the news, but they could not make it so they are stuck doing sports, or the sportscasters are washed up athletes that had one too many concussions and retired, so they do not have all their marbles upstairs.
i have taken a leave of football for quite a few years (due to the fact that i can't watch any of it on tv at home) , but i caught some of the second half of that Real Madrid/ Partizan match while at lunch the other day. was it this board that had a thread about the payroll for Real Madrid?

There was a mini-interview with Tim in the September FourFourTwo, where he says he's able to totally concentrate on the game and block everything else out, along with a quote that says only 4 percent of people with Tourette's have the tic for swearing, and he is apparently not among that group.
