My fave lines from "What's Happening?":

"No Roger, No Rerun, No Rent!" and "Which Doobie you be?"

From ET online:

FRED "RERUN" BERRY DIES October 22, 2003

FRED BERRY, the comic actor best known for his role as Rerun on the '70s sitcom "What's Happening!!" has died. The red beret-wearing actor died Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles, according to his pastor, who reports that Berry had suffered a stroke sometime before the last time he saw him back in August. His most recent onscreen appearance was a cameo in the DAVID SPADE comedy, 'Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.' Berry was 52.

I saw that last night on Yahoo, he had been in the news recently for participating in a "dial-a-star!" phone service which basically consisted of him and other washed-up sitcom stars. One of my favorite shows growing up, and I can still remember the opening sequence :(

I can only vaguely remember that show, which means I watched about 3 episodes before I got bored with it. Yeah, Jim Rome was talking about that "dial a star" crap with Rerun a couple of months ago; pretty sure that the price was something like 20 dollars for a 15 second call :nuts: Realvalue for money indeed.

For anyone familiar with the Adult Swim (Cartoon Network) show "Sealab 2021", the actor who voiced "Captain Murphy" passed away from cancer over a month ago (a buddy of mine stumbled upon this sad news only recently, no mention of it on the offical AS website). Sealab's one of the best shows on the Cartoon Network, so this is really bad news for them and fans like me :(

RIP Harry Goz "Cpt. Murphy" (1932-2003)
