Here in Recife, in the best pubs, you buy a glass with .35l by R$ 2.30 = US$ 0.80. But you can buy a bottle of .65l by US$ 1.00 in cheaper places.

He's probably still recovering from the sticker shock of the Budweiser "beer" being sold at Seahawk Stadium, wasn't it 8 bucks a 12 oz. bottle?
Bastard stores around here raised the prices of Foster's Bitter by about 20 percent, and when I'm out, I try not to pay more than 3 bucks for a pint.
At the corner store, you can get a 12 pack for 11$, usually 24 for 20$, and some cheaper exists.. (that's canadian money).. that's the 300 something mililiter bottles.. you can get a 40 Oz, for what, 3-4$?
However, if you go to a bar, you can multiple that by 3 to 5.. if you don't take draft!
(1$ CDN = 0.76 cents US, 0.63 Euros)
Average €3.50 (approx. US$3.50/£2.40stg) per pint here, the same price as a 33cl (330ml ?) bottle.
This is a total piss-take as, for example, 6 bottles of Heineken will set you back €21 in a pub, but the same will set you back under €10 in a supermarket. I know pubs have overheads and stuff, but Jesus!![]()

les depaneurs! i find that to be one the greatest/most unique differences (from alberta at least)when i visited quebec.
i can generally get away with $3.50 for a cheap pint. cheaper places do exist but the beer generally is some sort of no-name/watery brew. only called "beer."

average. it´s 1,40 pesos on the supermarkets and kiosks and maybe 4 on a restaurant. there´re some REALLY expensive pubs though. a pint could cost 6 pesos (2 US$) there. but i don´t go there! ![]()
No idea what the cheapest is but the Pan American bar in the Albert Dock is a bit steap. Paid £6.85 for a pint of lager and a small 175ml glass of wine. Paris is crazy money for beer, the cheapest pint I found was €5

It depends on where you drink it and what you are drinking here the local beer "Estrella" is sold in 33 cl. bottles called "medianas" and you can get them for about €1.50 in a local bar and €3.00 in a trendier place at the city centre.
