i think i'm getting an iPod for christmas so i've spent the last three days ripping CD's. 11 Gigs of MP3's loaded just this weekend. I downloaded a script to rip multiple discs at a time but only at the iTunes rate which max's out at about 6-8 x. Totally unacceptable.
What is the best, free FASTEST MP3 Converter for Mac's?

Any killer iTunes tips besides the usual shortcuts found in the Help menu?

What's the best way to get good quality covers for the "album artwork" section?

Have you found and used any useful scripts/visualizer plug-ins?

I don't have an ipod yet, but as far as the covers, I download this utility, forgot what it's called, I'l post it when i find it. It scans you playlists and searches amazon.com for covers automatically.
