Hey, I'm having a discussion on another forum. We're wondering if you drive to the left or right when your driving up a roundabout in England.

On the left with the exception of Hemel and Swindon, who have MAgic Rounabouts, you just drive and hope for the best.

Left lane or left way? It's a discussion because of an image, i'll link it... it's http://www.titelinoverweging.nl/img/hoezorotonde.jpg

As you can see, the arrow shows you should go rightway but we think that if you drive on the left lane, you should turn also to the left

Bas, turn the braincells OFF for a minute. Imagine the roundabouts here: everyone drives on the right, what would happen if we took a left going onto a roundabout? Don't know where that picture was taken but it's surely one of those magic roundabouts Mike mentioned

Take it from me, being a frequent driver in both countries, the roundabouts work the same as here, only in the opposite direction.

that's funny. i posted something on here about a roundabout in my hometown and how construction pissed me off all summer. however, i was a bit drunk when i wrote it, so maybe it ended up in the wrong thread.
