OK, so Trevor, err, Taboo, posted this on the "Kill 'em All" thread...

"U2's one of those bands I hate myself for liking, and subsequently make fun of them when I can. I think it comes from hanging around you guys, otherwise I wouldn't feel so dirty..."

...and it got me to thinking, yeah, it's easy to say who we absolutely despise, but what about the songs we secretly like when they come on the radio, but would never admit to liking...What about those bands? Taboo secretly likes U2, Tristan secretly likes Celine  ...what about everybody else? What's your guilty pleasure?

OK, so I'll admit it, when I hear Bon Jovi's "It's My Life," I KNOW I'm not supposed to like it, but, well, it is kinda catchy...

I still like Simple Minds up until New Gold Dream, after which I quickly lost track.

As for Bon Jovi, I still laugh at that line from Beavis and Butthead: "Hey Beavis, remember when Bon Jovi was cool?" "Uhhhhhhhhhh..................no!"

Because of a certain female, I'm fond of that Shania Twain song, "From This Moment", though I only bought that on a 45, couldn't imagine buying a whole album of hers just for one song.

Still have and play Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon", so I suppose that figures in somewhere, plus I watch a bit of the Powerpuff Girls or Dexter's Laboratory sometimes while waiting for Sportscenter to come on.

i have no guilty pleasures.

Used to be Pet Shop Boys and the Culture Club's first album while I was in high school. Now, instead of music, my guilty pleasure is getting an excessive amount of takeout from a pizza place and watching an anime series for a few hours - Gravitation or Yami No Matsuei.

Was big into Adam & The Ants at about age 10/12, and will still give a listen on the rare occasion a tune appears on tv or radio.

Or my cd player. Ahem. :uhoh:

I must admit, while not an ABBA-fan, I'm not necessarily an ABBA-hater.

And nevermind the current legal troubles, I grew up with Michael Jackson's classic 80s singles, so I have some fondness for the time when he was still black. What we didn't know then...:nonono:

Some random 80's tracks (the hits, you know) are fairly guilty pleasures....

Oh, yeah. I forgot about "You Spin me right round" by Dead or Alive, I think. You can't ever seem to remember those one-hit wonders.
