I heard a few days ago on the radio about another way to drink beer and be cool to the eyes of your friends, which is called in french the "Centurion", based on the roman army member and number 100 of course...

This is a "game" where you have to drink 3 onces of beer at each minute for the next 100 minutes...

Seemed easy to me, but then I noticed that it's 300 onces of beer in 1h40 minutes, meaning 7.5 x 40 onces, that is a LOT of beer, you must have a lot of problem to keep all that inside for all that time!!!!!!!

Sounds much like "Power Hour" to me....that is drinking a shot (1 1/2 ounces) of beer every minute for 60 minutes, and I'm not one for having all of it come back up infront of my friends, so I barely make 45 minutes...but that games sounds hardcore :skeptic:

In Serbia, they say if you can grasp the table legs while lying on the floor, you're not drunk. :evil4:

It was Dean Martin who said " Your'e not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on"

Well, then, I've been known to be not drunk in every room in my apartment, on occasion.

George Best , could be a good person to ask the question of How much beer is too much.

Mind, I drink so rarely that it doesn't take much. Two glasses of champagne tonight and my head is spinning.

You have no idea how many errors I had to go back and correct! One more glass, I'm afraid, and the errors would remain.

And mind, I've only been not drunk in every room in my apartment over a Mysterious Polish Babe.

Well, 6 minutes from 3 AM and I'm just about to finish glass #3 of a Mysterious French Champagne. And I'm not on the floor yet! Finish watching Amelie again, and then off to sleep (it off).

On my to-do list, for when I have a paying job. Goodnight all.

Pappy Boyington once said, "Even if I was lying on the floor, if I was still talking to you, I was not drunk."

Never understand what they are on about when they talk in ounces Mike!!!

If they were to talk in pints per hour I could lend an opinion:nod:

I will be opening my first can of Stella Artois very shortly, my nerves are still on end for the Celtic v Rangers game. By the end of the game I am guessing at least 6 cans will have bit the dust.....along with about 20 cigarettes:nonono:

There are 16 ounces per pint; at 180 ounces per hour, that equals 11.25 pints per hour. :nonono::nonono::nonono::barf:

"Too much" depends on many many things I guess... My "too much" is when i start skipping the "r" in words and just ask fo moe bee :D

Elias once made a mistake and gave me "moe bee sweethaet"

We ended up like this: Elias was driving in one of the most crowded roads of our city while I opened the car door and puked out of a moving vehicle

If you can do the maths above you clearly haven't had enough beer.

I always know I have had too much beer when I start ordering mixed drinks. The last time I was seriously messed up the last thing I remmeber was ordering shots of Canadian whiskey. My friends tell me that I had a good time that night. I do not recall. I did wake up in my bed with my wife and the bathroom was clean. My friend, however, was not so lucky, vomitted on his wife.

I woke up on Dec. 27th (after being out on 26th from 2.30 pm till err, late) with a massive bruise on my left side just above the hip which is only barely starting to fade now, and a very sore left upper-arm, again which is only just starting to ease.

I have absolutely no idea how they got there.

Is that a sign of too much?:laugh:

So I've been told! ;)

And I didn't even have any Nectar Of The Gods, aka Stella! Not sold in pubs over here, but occasionally sold in supermarkets for €1 ($1.10-ish)per bottle. Obviously, I've been known to partake of such generous offers.
