I just love the post office!

I sent Julio some CDs on 17th December but up to a week ago, he never got them so as I posted them International Signed For which carries insurance for £30 value, I rang the post office to see what happened to the package. They said that their was good news - package has arrived in Amsterdam!. After explaining that it was meant for Brazil they said that they will check it out. Meanwhile Julio mailed me a day later to say that the Dutch postal service must be very efficient as the package was now with him. today, I get a letter from the post office to say that they have checked with their colleagues in Brazil and they cannot find the package and apologised and enclosed a cheque for £30 compensation!! CASHBACK!!!!!

Well, my "Five Live Yardbirds" cd came in well enough today, no delays or mistaken addresses, so I ain't sweating it

Bloody joke when even the Recorded Delivery stuff gets fucked up, and this before it even gets as far as Brazil !

Should touch wood here, but have traded lots of stuff & only once has anything gone AWOL & still think that was the pikey I was trading with not the GPO!!!
