And George "Look at My Butt" Michael has Joy Division in his collection.

But I have Radiohead's OK Computer in my slot at the moment.

Hmm...on second thought, remind me never to mention George Michael and a filled slot in the same post again. :skeptic::laugh:

"Bringing It All Back Home" - Bob Dylan, purchased this afternoon for £1.99 in the sale at Borders.

After that, Dexys live at Leeds Grand Theatre 2003 will be making another appearance I think.

Picked up that Rough Trade compilation of artists of today covering "classic" songs from their past catalog, mostly cause it was cheap, though how the Strokes wind up with two songs on it, and stuff like Stiff Little Fingers get shut out is beyond me.

Not all bad, some of 'em add nothing, i.e. the version of Aztec Camera's We Could Send Letters, though the acoustic version of The Clean's Dunes is wonderful. Belle And Sebastian have totally ruined Young Marble Giant's Final Day, one of the worst things I've ever heard. :finger::violent::headoff:

if they'd get rid of the guitar and focus on the electronics a bit more, they'd be more popular around my house but unfortunately, Hillage is obsessed with stroking his shaft. the ambience of Water is splendid, only ruined by new age hippie guitar shit.
