You been watching Red Dwarf Timbo?;)

And Mike, don't let The Rocket hear you slagging off The PSB's - he's a massive fan, it's got something to do with his bald head and his feminine side:D

Red Dwarf ? They pinched it off Monty Python, which was why people thought Red Dwarf was funny. Not because it was original, but because it was giving deferential nods to established good comedy from yesteryear.

I've recently made myself a fantastic PSB CD made of tracks they composed since their last album, mainly b-sides, new tracks of Disco 3, and re-working of old material... IT'S REALLY FANTASTIC!!!!!!

THE PET SHOP BOYS ARE THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO BERNARD SUMNER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You miserable old ratbag. I agreed with your constant rants against the Cure, even though you were making yourself look like a cantankerous old fecker, but now you're just criticising a couple of guys who have made some pretty nifty music over the last 20 years.

The whole point of these off-topic forums is to discuss non-NO stuff; in fact I enjoy 'Behind Closed Doors' & this new 'un a helluva lot more than 'Digital Republic'. If you're really sick of seeing the Cure & PSB mentioned on a non NewOrder message board, then just fuck off.

PS Your obsession with that ugly bird in your avatar is getting tiresome now aswell. Have a wank over all the photos & newspaper cuttings of her you've Blu-Tacked to your bedroom wall, it'll save you the bother of having to go out into the Sheep-Shaggers capital of the world Derby to actually find a real ewe to love...

Never really cared for the PSBs. Neils voice is kinda irritating especial when he did that Willie Nelson song.

the cover of "where the streets have no name" is awesome!! i guess the story goes that U2 then issued a press release entitled "what have we done to deserve this?" har.:D

They made a handful of decent records. Or am i just thinking their wank...:evil4:

They're great. End of story.

They have enough good songs for an EP, but the rest is a bunch of eurotrash shite. Always on My Mind is fucking classic, and the other good ones are West End Girls, It's a Sin, Where the Streets Have No Name, and Opportunities. But that's all.

Are you talking about PSB or your obsession with Erasure? Correct me if I'm wrong (since you're an expert on the subject :p ) but wasn't it Erasure who released the Abbaesque album (which is in my roommate's stereo at the moment)?

I admit i bought the Pop/Art/Mix 3cd set they released at the back end of last year, but it was really only for the Mix cd which has some rather good club mixes on.

They have made great b-sides and obscure tracks lately -- they could have released another album if they felt like to because they had enough material for that, although it would have been very inconsistent in style.

speaking of b-sides, the alternative double disc is really damn good. as a matter of fact, bloodhound gang sampled one of the songs (cant remember which) for the bad touch :)

REALLY ?????

Never heard of that, and I do appreciate the song Bad Touch a lot! :)

Could you dig up the information? I'd be very curious to learn that!

you are very right, it was in the night :)
