In fairness, I didn't really see all these movies, but I thought Johnny was funny and totally gave himself over to the role...and not annoyingly over-the-top.
I voted for Johnny Depp...Pirates of the Carribean is the only movie I saw from this list, as in Holand most movies are released 6 months after the US and the UK. But he deserves it anyway after his roles in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Sleepy Hollow, Donnie Brasco, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Ed Wood and ... erm ... The Fast Show!

I'll say Chocolat just for Mike...
Johnny isn't looking for glory and he manages to get good roles, but often you see him where you don't expect him to be.
He said once he'd drop the movie career to join Oasis though, some people might not like that 
He's usually good in Tim Burton movies as well, it's surprising he didn't end up in Big Fish.. i haven't seen Once Upon A Time in Mexico yet, but he's supposed to be good in that one.

Depp, cos I reckon when they call his name out he'll light-up a bifter and end up in the bad books of the La La land health squad
I voted for Depp, but I'm quite sure this one is going to Sean Penn, he had two great roles this year in Mystic River and 21 grams.
