Quiz question: In which decade did Spurs last beat Chelsea in a league match. Answers on a postcard.
I'm really enjoying this - from a Chelsea fan.
10th Feb 1990 2-1 at Stamford Bridge, goals from Gary Lineker and David Howells. Gate of 28130. Last league win for Spurs over Chelsea at Shite Hart Lane was 22/8/87, 1-0 thanks to Nico Claesen. Gate of 37079. New Order played Cleveland Nautica Stage that day.
Last Spurs win over Chelsea in all competitions was a 5-1 League Cup win in January 2002.

Could you be a bit more precise, Timbo :D
Nice recall on Nico Claesen, I'd forgotten what a shite player he was, quite embarassing that he scored against us when you think about it, but our centre halves would probably have been Pates and McGlaughlin at a guess so perhaps it's not too surprising...
That'll teach 'em for not giving Zamora a chance (oh - how I laughed when Postiga was replaced by...Poyet!).
Incidently - Zammo scored for Hammers reserves last night...!!!
Chris :)
Only caught the highlights (was this on Sky then?) but what a fan-bloody-tastic match. They don't make 'em like that any more.
At least there'll be some Mancunians at Old Trafford for the 5th round now. ![]()
Watched some of it in the pub at lunchtime - cracking entertainment. Could have been seven or eight for Spurs in the second half, neither defence was up to much. Liked the freekick routine for the City first goal - subtle disguised chip ball looked a bit too straight, and wouldn't have worked with an organised back four who could have stepped up and caught them offside, but the disguise worked well.
Watched in my local last night with about 20 spuds fans, boy did i have some in the second half ![]()

Piss off, then ;)
Don't worry then Don, I've become used to bad news with the Spurs, this is definitely a new low
Checked in at work when it was at the half, and got a rude shock later on. Ruined a perfectly brilliant day for me, I can only imagine what it's like over there. ![]()
Got yer email Allan - more fucks in it than a night on Viagra.
Never mind son, at least yer MAIN team keeps winning:D
C'mon the Hoops!
A case of Tottenham Hot & Cold Spurs.
Excellent in the 1st half, garbage in the 2nd.
Cracking game, enjoyed the banter on the fanzone
commentary, especially the City fan when they scored
the winner.
Something along the lines of David Pleat, Glenn Hoddle,
Patsy Kensit, Chas & Dave can you hear me, your boys took one hell of a beating. ![]()
