FFS use your loaf chaps - Nic's already had to take the site down because of bandwidth problems - every time you post a large image file on here, or even worse link to an image on another site, it makes this problem worse.

Moderator - delete this thread asap before it completely fucks up the site for everyone else.

The images are done by links to other sites, so how is it making the problem worse?

All we are doing is hotlinking the image from another site, the image is hosted on another site not on NOOL, therefore NOOL doesnt have to store the images it merely references them.

However correct me if i'm wrong Nicos and we will stop.

Because it draws in the bandwidth from those sites that the images are on, as well as creating a copy of the image used within this site. The file doesn't have to be hosted on this site to create a problem for the site, a link to a very popular file will drain the bandwidth to the site very easily.

I dont think it does host pictures you link too on this site!

If it did then explain how that pictures which do no longer exist on the target site come up as red crosses on NOOL !!
