People you hate yet respect.

I will give an example Thierry Henry

Hate him as he plays for the arse and keeps banging them in thus threatening Man U's title aspirations.

Yet utterly respect his skill and talent as a footballer

as for Tony H.Wilson... *cough*cough*

I would be pissed off if Arsenal took the premiership, but on the positive side of things LIVERPOOL ARE PLAYING SHITE. No change there then, last time they won a league title Blue Monday was innovative stuff. The respect? er,they`ve got a good nightclub in town. :D

Micheal Jordan. Despite the fact that our local team should've drafted him, instead of an injury-prone center with leg bones made of balsa, he's a freakin' North Carolina Tar Hole, which is as near as an automatic ticket to Hades in my book as there is.

Won over by his talent and attitude, at least until 98, when he retired from the Bulls, and not when he went to Washington. Much as he ruined life for me and other Blazer fans back then, I had to give it up for usually coming through time and again, and when the opponent was somebody like the pitiful Utah Jazz and their 'fans' , then I found myself rooting for MJ.
